文化部台灣光點計畫

這是由台灣文化部贊助、英國愛丁堡大學共同主辦的「蘇格蘭台灣文化節」的活動識別系統與相關設計。

為了符合並讓東西方觀眾都能接受的風格，在字體選擇、版面設計，以及視覺上都進行諸多考量。運用中國書法筆畫來勾勒出「台灣」的英文，同時使用優美的襯線字體和現代的無襯線字體配合整體文字編排。由於台灣電影節是該系列活動的主要活動之一，因此我利用了許多電影中的照片，並採用蒙太奇技術進行排版，希望產生混合不同文化元素的魔幻情境，顏色方案也經過考量與定義。

This is the activity identification system and related designs for the "Scotland Taiwan Cultural Festival" jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture Taiwan and the University of Edinburgh, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture Taiwan.

Various considerations were made in font selection, layout design, and visual elements to meet the style acceptable to both Eastern and Western audiences. Chinese calligraphy strokes were used to outline the word "Taiwan" in English, while elegant serif fonts and modern sans-serif fonts were used for the overall text arrangement. As the Taiwan Film Festival was one of the main activities in this series, I utilized numerous photographs from films and employed montage techniques in the layout, aiming to create a magical scenario blending different cultural elements. The colour scheme was also carefully considered and defined.

The event occurred in Edinburgh from 2013 to 2014 and continued for several years after that.
