Breadbox
Empowerment Project
Book House for Children is a non-profit foundation located in the Zhiben area of Taitung, Taiwan. Dedicated to supporting local children facing resource scarcity, the foundation operates nine "Book Houses" across the region. These spaces serve as vital sanctuaries where children can learn and grow after school.
Beyond education, the foundation operates a community café. This space functions as a vocational training ground, empowering youth with practical skills and a path toward self-reliance.
The Empowerment Initiative: Healthy Breakfasts
The current empowerment project aims to provide local children with nutritious breakfasts featuring bread handmade by the foundation’s trainee bakers. By integrating professional vocational training with nutritional support, the project ensures that children can grow up healthy, happy, and well-nourished.

Our collaboration on this initiative includes the following:
-
